The Liverpool Commonwealth Association (LCA) is pleased to announce the launch of its newly redesigned website www.liverpoolcommonwealth.org.
The new site features a streamlined, modern design, improved functionality, and easy access to essential information on the LCA’s work in representing the interests of the Commonwealth communities across the Liverpool City Region and beyond.
LCA Chair, Garth Dallas said:
“We are thrilled to debut our new website to our members, stakeholders, partners, and visitors who share an interest in promoting the values of the Commonwealth Charter and develop connections across the Commonwealth. This website redesign truly reflects the image of the Liverpool Commonwealth Association and its aim of being further recognised as the premier regional Commonwealth organisation in the UK. We want each visitor to sample the vibrant culture of the Liverpool Commonwealth communities and join us in connecting the 53 Commonwealth nations into the economic and social fabric of the region.”
ABOUT THE LIVERPOOL COMMONWEALTH ASSOCIATION (LCA):
The LCA’s main aim is promoting community cohesion and a sense of belonging amongst the Liverpool City Region’s Commonwealth communities thus empowering its people to contribute effectively to the region’s economic and social agenda. This will enable stronger links between the region’s Commonwealth communities and the Commonwealth of Nations, leading to particular focus on increasing two-way trade, cultural and educational links and any other links designed to enhance the role of the Commonwealth in the strategic plan of the entire Liverpool City Region. The Association also has the wider aim of having Liverpool declared the UK’s first official Commonwealth City and thus promoting the City Region as a Commonwealth Region.
